Lumora For Children Uganda is a Non Government international Organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable children in Uganda. The goal is to combine immediate humanitarian assistance with long-term development, giving children the opportunity to grow up with education, independence, and dignity.
In a small community in Uganda, a group of children is growing up without the security most of us take for granted. Some have lost their parents, others live in extreme poverty where even daily meals and school attendance cannot be guaranteed.
Without support, many of these children face a future without education, opportunity or stability.

Through education, daily support and practical skills training, Lumora helps children move step by step from dependency toward independence.Our approach is not only about charity.It is about creating opportunity.
Children receive access to school, basic nutrition and guidance while the project also develops long-term solutions such as agriculture and community initiatives that help create sustainable support.

Founder/International Advisor Germany / Mallorca
Frank Garrelts is a German entrepreneur, philanthropist and international networker based between Germany and Mallorca, Spain. For decades he has been engaged in international business development, health innovation and social initiatives connecting Europe and Africa. His work focuses on building bridges between people, ideas and resources in order to create sustainable opportunities. Frank is a long-standing member of Rotary International and served as a District Governor, leading a large international network of professionals dedicated to humanitarian service, education and community development. Alongside his entrepreneurial activities, he has supported several charitable initiatives in Africa aimed at improving access to education, food security and long-term independence for children and families. As Founder and International Advisor of Lumora – From Aid to Independence, Frank supports the strategic vision of the project and helps connect international partners, donors and organizations who believe in sustainable development. He believes that real support should not create dependency but opportunity — empowering communities to build their own future through education, responsibility and cooperation.

I’m passionate humanitarian and social impact leader dedicated to improving the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in the communities of Uganda. With a strong commitment to sustainable development, he works to create long-term solutions that empower children through education, practical skills training, and community-based initiatives. Driven by the belief that charity should go beyond short-term assistance, he founded Lumora For Children Uganda with the vision of building sustainable programs that reduce dependency on donations while creating lasting opportunities for children and communities. I’m an Information Technology Manager by profession.

The flagship initiative of Lumora For Children Uganda is the establishment of a comprehensive campus that integrates education, vocational training, and income-generating activities.The campus is designed to serve as both a learning institution and a sustainable development center.
A key component of the project is the establishment of a vocational training and production center.This center allows students to learn practical skills while producing items that are used within the school or sold locally. The system helps reduce costs while giving students valuable hands-on experience.
Agriculture will play an important role in ensuring sustainability and food security.Students will participate in agricultural activities that include crop farming, vegetable gardening, poultry farming, and other agribusiness initiatives. These projects will support the school feeding program while also generating income from surplus produce.
